Ascot Hotel - Copenhagen

The bed was very comfy, I enjoyed it.

The room was newly decorated and reasonably sized with a comfortable bed, and we slept very well.

By and large, it was convenient base for sightseeing in Copenhagen, had much fun and met efficient staff at the reception desk. Its location was magnificent and best possible, just 5 minutes walk from The Wall. And the area was pretty comfortable, near the main shopping district, train station and Copenhagen.

The hotel is located in a nice area. However it felt more like a 2 or 3 star hotel since it was lacking amenities you get with 4 and 5 star hotels. The restaurant only seemed to be open for breakfast. It was closed at 8pm when we wondered in from our day's travel and exploration. Getting a cup of tea or coffee to unwind meant you had to go in search of a cafe that was opened. The staff at the counter seemed young and inexperienced, and knowledge when we asked about parking. We got screwed when we were told it would cost more with them for a half day than to go elsewhere. Turned out to be the other way around.

I would stay here again, but this time it is with full knowledge of what they offer and don't offer.

Not a full service hotel as one would think of for a 4 or 5 star as we see in the United States. Every country has their version of hotel rankings. Always call in advanced to get details.

The location of the hotel was good, next to a less than salubrious square often populated by drunks. I was given neat and unique room just how expected it to be with free WiFi as well as the bathroom.

The hotel is in a great location, very close to the central train station and metro. Tivoli amusement park is only a 2 minute walk as is Radhuspladsen and the main shopping area (Stroget) is no more than a 5 minute walk. The hotel itself is very clean and pleasant and the staff exceptionally friendly & helpful and made our stay very enjoyable.

The rooms were brilliant with comfortable bed as well as a coffee machine as described. The location was brilliant and exceptional, for example, a fine-art museum was at a moderate distance from the hotel.

The hotel is very well located. It was quiet and calm. The hotel staff was not visible. Breakfast was very good. We had a good view from the window. Our room was very cozy. It was easy to reach the hotel from the airport and go somewhere else on the train as near the central train station.

It was a little towel, but you probably had to ask.

Great Location and Comfortable Stay

The hotel boasts an excellent location just a short walk from Tivoli Gardens and the central station. My room was quite spacious and comfortable, with a cozy atmosphere upgraded with the interesting decor. I did find the bathroom somewhat cramped and the shower in the bathtub a bit too small for comfort.

Great atmosphere and very centrally located.

The location is excellent - few steps from City Hall, in Latin district, near Univercity library(very nice place). Good breakfast - in continental style, but food was very nice ( especially various sorts of cheese and fresh orange juice)

The bathrooom was not comfortable - very little room, instead of normal shower pallet - plastic curtain and hole in floor.

Location was excellent, very close to the subway station.

My room was quite small and boxy. And there was a lot of noise from the street. There was no minibar in the room for late night jetlag.

The combination of art nouveau decor and cozy ambiance. Unlike my previous stay in copenhagen, this hotel was so good with its spacious room and helpful staff.
